How easy is the "Qwick-Slope" to install?
"Very Easy" It requires simple "handyman" skills to install a "Qwick-Slope". A "Qwick-Slope" can be "cut-to-fit" in the field. The "Qwick-Slope" is adhered to the sub-floor using an even layer of troweled latex modified thin-set. The "Qwick-Slope" uses a standard tile drain. No need to re-plumb for a special drain. In most cases, your existing tile shower drain can be reused to connect to a "Qwick-Slope".

Is the "Qwick-Slope" Waterproof?
Yes! One of the purposes of the "Qwick-Slope" is to assist in the construction of a mortar-free, leak-free shower. Waterproofing the joints between the "Qwick-Slope" and the tile backerboard can be accomplished using our elastomeric waterproofing membrane ShowerSeal. Elastomeric waterproofing membranes can also be purchased at most professional tile distributors or your local home center.

What is the difference between the "Qwick-Slope" and the "Tile Basin"?
Answer: The "Qwick-Slope" is identical to the "Tile-Basin" with two exceptions. The "Qwick-Slope" does not come factory prepped with an elastomeric waterproofing membrane coating, or with factory installed perimeter components (ie.....flange or curb). This allows the "Qwick-Slope" to be cut-to-fit in the field. An elstomeric waterproofing membrane must be properly applied to surface of the "Qwick-Slope" and to the seams where the "Qwick-Slope", and the tile backerboard, meet.
